The product is marketed as sildenafil citrate 100 mg, a PDE-5 inhibitor used for erectile dysfunction. The manufacturer/product listing also identifies Night Play as 100 mg sildenafil citrate. (Tradeindia)
The wording on the package is “Sildenafil Citrate Tablets IP 100 mg.” For many sildenafil formulations, the label specifies sildenafil citrate equivalent to sildenafil 100 mg. However, the supplied image does not show a sufficiently clear “each tablet contains” panel to verify whether this particular manufacturer expresses the 100 mg as sildenafil citrate salt or as sildenafil equivalent. Therefore, I would not invent the exact salt/equivalent wording.
Sildenafil inhibits phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5). This increases the effect of nitric oxide/cGMP in penile tissue, allowing increased blood flow during sexual stimulation. It does not automatically cause an erection and does not increase sexual desire.
100 mg is the maximum usual single dose for erectile dysfunction; it should not be taken more than once in 24 hours unless specifically directed by a doctor.
Never take sildenafil with nitrate medicines such as nitroglycerin/isosorbide because the combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
Avoid combining it with other erectile-dysfunction medicines unless prescribed.
Common adverse effects include headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, dizziness and visual changes.
Seek urgent medical attention for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden loss of vision/hearing, or severe chest symptoms.
In short: Night-PLAY = Sildenafil citrate 100 mg per tablet + tablet excipients. (Tradeindia)
