RABITIME-DSR CAPSULE
The image shows Rabitime-DSR, a prescription medicine containing rabeprazole sodium (enteric-coated) and domperidone (sustained-release). The box contains 10 × 10 capsules (100 capsules), with a blister strip displayed in front.
This combination is commonly prescribed for acid-related digestive problems, particularly when acidity is accompanied by nausea or symptoms of delayed stomach emptying.
Acid reflux (GERD): Helps reduce stomach acid and relieve heartburn.
Acidity and heartburn: Reduces acid production and associated burning sensations.
Nausea and vomiting: Domperidone can help relieve these symptoms.
Regurgitation: May help when stomach contents flow back into the food pipe.
Rabeprazole
A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that blocks acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining. It reduces acid secretion, allowing irritated tissue in the esophagus to heal.
Domperidone
A medicine that blocks dopamine receptors, helping relieve nausea and vomiting. It can also improve movement of food from the stomach into the intestines.
It is generally taken before a meal, often before breakfast, according to the prescribing doctor's instructions. Swallow the capsule whole rather than crushing or chewing it, as its contents are designed for controlled release.
The exact strength of each ingredient is not readable on the visible front of this package, so the appropriate dose cannot be confirmed from the image.
Common side effects may include headache, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea or constipation.
Important safety information
Domperidone can occasionally cause serious heart-rhythm problems, particularly in people with certain heart conditions or those taking interacting medicines. Seek urgent medical attention for fainting, a racing or irregular heartbeat, or severe dizziness.
The photograph is a professionally styled pharmaceutical product shot. A rectangular white medicine carton is positioned on a glossy, reflective surface against a softly blurred, pale blue-and-white background.
The front of the carton displays the generic ingredients in large, dark lettering, with Rabitime-DSR prominently printed beneath them. The brand name uses dark navy blue for “Rabitime” and red for “DSR.” Sweeping red, navy and white graphics decorate the lower part of the packaging. A silver blister strip containing white capsules lies diagonally in front of the box.
Soft lighting, subtle shadows and a reflection beneath the product give the image a clean, clinical appearance.
Note: This is a prescription combination, and domperidone is not suitable for everyone. Its use and duration should be determined by a clinician.
