Colex-C Syrup
Colex-C Syrup — 100 mL
Label description: B-Complex with Vitamin C Syrup
So it is intended as a vitamin B-complex + vitamin C preparation, rather than an antibiotic, cough suppressant, or steroid.
Depending on the manufacturer/formulation, B-complex syrups can contain:
For comparison, a commercially listed B-Colex syrup from the same broad product family is reported to contain B1, B2, B6, nicotinamide, D-panthenol and B12, but that does not establish that it is the same formulation as the Colex-C bottle in your photograph. (Apollo Pharmacy)
There is also a product called B-Colex-C injection, whose documented formulation is completely different from a syrup: vitamin C 150 mg + vitamin B12 2500 mcg + folic acid 0.7 mg + niacinamide 12 mg. (Truemeds) That composition should not be used for the syrup.
Please send a close-up photo of the side/back panel of the box, especially the section beginning with something like:
“Each 5 mL contains…”
Then I can give you, in detail:
every ingredient
exact mg/mcg per 5 mL
amount in the full 100-mL bottle
what each vitamin does
usual uses
possible side effects
whether it is appropriate for children/adults
how its dose compares with daily vitamin requirements
I don't want to guess the quantities from this image, because different B-complex + vitamin C syrups have substantially different strengths.
