ACECLOTT-MR tablets
Brand: ACECLOTT-MR
Ingredients: Aceclofenac + Paracetamol + Chlorzoxazone
Form: Tablets
Pack: 10 × 10 tablets = 100 tablets
Rx: Prescription medicine
Manufacturer: Accott Healthcare
1. Aceclofenac
An NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug).
Reduces inflammation, swelling and pain.
Used for musculoskeletal pain such as back, neck, joint and muscle pain.
Can cause stomach irritation and, particularly with prolonged use, increase the risk of ulcers/bleeding and kidney problems.
2. Paracetamol
Provides additional pain relief.
Also reduces fever.
Excessive total intake can cause serious liver damage.
3. Chlorzoxazone
A centrally acting muscle relaxant.
Helps reduce painful muscle spasm and stiffness.
Can cause drowsiness, dizziness or weakness.
Avoid driving if you feel sleepy or impaired.
The combination is particularly intended for pain associated with muscle spasm, for example:
Acute lower-back pain
Neck pain and muscle stiffness
Painful muscle spasms
Muscle/soft-tissue injuries
Sprains and strains
Some other acute musculoskeletal conditions
In simple terms:
Aceclofenac → reduces inflammation/pain
Paracetamol → additional pain/fever relief
Chlorzoxazone → relaxes painful muscle spasm
This medicine overlaps with two of the other products you've shown:
Therefore, ACECLOTT-P, ACECLOTT-TH and ACECLOTT-MR should not simply be taken together. They contain overlapping painkillers, particularly aceclofenac, and ACECLOTT-P/MR both contain paracetamol.
These may be different prescriptions/alternatives rather than medicines intended to be taken simultaneously.
Also remember that A-COLD contains paracetamol, creating another potential source of duplicate paracetamol.
The front of the box doesn't clearly show the mg strength of aceclofenac, paracetamol and chlorzoxazone per tablet. I therefore wouldn't recommend a specific dose based on this image.
If you show me the back of the ACECLOTT-MR box or blister, I can identify the exact strengths. If you have the doctor's prescription, that's even better—I can then explain which of these medicines is actually meant to be taken, how often, and which ones should not be combined.
