What it is used for

ACECLOTT-P is primarily a painkiller and anti-inflammatory combination. It may be prescribed for:

• Back pain

• Neck pain

• Joint pain/arthritis

• Muscle and soft-tissue pain

• Sprains and strains

• Dental pain

• Other painful inflammatory conditions

How it works

Aceclofenac

• NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug)

• Reduces inflammation, swelling and pain.

Paracetamol

• Provides additional pain relief.

• Reduces fever.

Together, they can provide greater pain relief than either ingredient alone.

Important precautions

Aceclofenac can cause:

• Acidity/indigestion

• Stomach irritation

• Ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, particularly with prolonged use

• Kidney problems

• Fluid retention or worsening of some cardiovascular conditions

Paracetamol is generally well tolerated at appropriate doses, but excessive total intake can cause serious liver damage.

It's usually advisable to take this medicine with or after food, if that is how your doctor prescribed it.

⚠️ Important given all the medicines you've shown

There is significant duplication among the medicines in your pictures:

• ACECLOTT-P: aceclofenac + paracetamol

• ACECLOTT-TH: aceclofenac + thiocolchicoside

• ACECLOTT-MR: aceclofenac + paracetamol + chlorzoxazone

• ACECLOTT-SP: aceclofenac + paracetamol + serratiopeptidase

• A-COLD: contains paracetamol

Therefore, these should not be combined simply because they are all pain/cold medicines. In particular, combining several products containing aceclofenac increases NSAID-related risks, and combining multiple products containing paracetamol can result in excessive paracetamol intake.

The two azithromycin products you showed (250 mg and 500 mg) are also the same antibiotic at different strengths and should not be interchanged or combined without the prescribed instructions.

This orange ACECLOTT-P box is not a different medicine from the blue ACECLOTT-P you showed earlier—it is the same active combination, with a different package presentation/pack quantity.
