The package clearly states “Linezolid Tablets IP 600 mg.” Linezolid 600-mg tablets contain 600 mg linezolid per tablet. (Drug Database)
Linezolid is a synthetic oxazolidinone antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing susceptible bacteria from growing. (DailyMed)
It is particularly active against certain Gram-positive bacteria, including organisms such as:
Staphylococcus aureus, including MRSA
Streptococcus species
Enterococcus species, including certain vancomycin-resistant strains
It can be used for serious infections such as pneumonia and complicated skin/soft-tissue infections when the causative bacteria are susceptible. It is not effective against Gram-negative infections. (Drug Database)
The active ingredient is linezolid itself, with a molecular weight of approximately 337.35 g/mol. The 600 mg on the label refers to 600 mg linezolid, not 600 mg of a different salt. (DailyMed)
The exact Accott-specific excipient list cannot be confirmed from the front photograph. Different manufacturers use different inactive ingredients. For example, approved 600-mg linezolid products may contain combinations of microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, hydroxypropylcellulose, magnesium stearate and film-coating ingredients such as hypromellose, titanium dioxide and polyethylene glycol. (medicines.org.uk)
Therefore, I would not assume those ingredients are present in LINZCOT-600 without seeing its composition panel.
Linezolid is a prescription/reserve antibiotic and should be used only under medical supervision.
Important potential problems with prolonged or inappropriate use include:
Low blood counts, particularly thrombocytopenia
Peripheral or optic neuropathy with prolonged treatment
Lactic acidosis
Important interactions with serotonergic medicines because linezolid has MAO-inhibiting activity
Potential interaction with large amounts of tyramine-rich foods (apotex.com)

The complete excipient list and their quantities require a clear photograph of the back/side panel where the “Each tablet contains…” information is printed.
