Accott's product listing confirms the composition as Fexofenadine 120 mg + Montelukast 10 mg per tablet. (Tradeindia)
Fexofenadine is a second-generation H1 antihistamine.
It blocks the action of histamine, helping reduce:
Sneezing
Runny nose
Itchy nose/throat
Watery or itchy eyes
Itching and hives (urticaria)
It is generally much less sedating than older antihistamines, although some people can still experience dizziness or drowsiness.
Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA).
It blocks leukotriene D4 receptors, helping reduce:
Allergic nasal inflammation
Nasal congestion
Wheezing/airway inflammation in appropriate patients
Symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis
It is not a rescue medicine for an acute asthma attack.
The combination provides two different approaches to allergy control:
Fexofenadine → blocks histamine
Montelukast → blocks leukotrienes
Therefore, the combination may be prescribed for conditions such as allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria, and in some patients with allergy-associated respiratory symptoms. Accott's listing specifically identifies allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria and asthma among the indications. (Tradeindia)
Montelukast: Important neuropsychiatric effects can occur in some people, including changes in mood or behavior, sleep disturbances, anxiety or suicidal thoughts. Contact a doctor promptly if significant behavioral or mood changes occur.
Fexofenadine: Avoid taking it together with aluminium/magnesium-containing antacids at the same time because they can reduce fexofenadine absorption; spacing them apart is generally recommended.
Do not automatically add another antihistamine or montelukast-containing medicine without medical advice.
MONCOT-F = Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 120 mg + Montelukast Sodium 10 mg per tablet + excipients q.s. (Tradeindia)
The exact manufacturer-specific excipient list is not visible in your photograph, so I would not invent those ingredients.
