Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used topically for various painful musculoskeletal conditions. MedlinePlus
The box itself says “For fast relief from Pain, Sprain & Strain.”
It may therefore be used for localized pain associated with things such as:
The exact indication and duration should follow the product instructions or the prescriber/pharmacist's advice.
You previously showed Redflam-TH Gel, which contained:
Diclofenac + Linseed Oil + Thiocolchicoside + Methyl Salicylate + Menthol
This new product, Redflam Gel, shows:
Diclofenac + Linseed Oil + Methyl Salicylate + Menthol
➡️ Redflam Gel does NOT list thiocolchicoside on the front.
Therefore, Redflam Gel is not the same formulation as Redflam-TH, even though both are topical pain gels.
For topical diclofenac products generally, the gel is applied to clean, dry, intact skin over the affected area and gently rubbed in according to the product's directions. It should not be applied to cuts, open wounds, infected skin, or rashes, and contact with the eyes, nose and mouth should be avoided. MedlinePlus
Wash your hands after application unless your hands themselves are the treatment area.
Because it contains diclofenac, don't assume that a topical gel is completely free of NSAID-related risks. Diclofenac products can cause local irritation and, particularly with extensive/prolonged use, systemic NSAID effects are possible. People with NSAID/aspirin allergy, a history of certain stomach bleeding/ulcer problems, kidney/liver disease, heart disease, or those taking other NSAIDs should check with a clinician or pharmacist. MedlinePlus
Also, avoid applying it together with another topical medicine to the same area unless advised.
The exact concentration of each ingredient isn't sufficiently legible in this photograph, so I would not guess the mg/% strength of your particular tube.
In short:
Redflam Gel = topical diclofenac-based pain/anti-inflammatory gel with linseed oil, methyl salicylate and menthol. Unlike Redflam-TH, it does not appear to contain thiocolchicoside.
