About ACCFLU-150 TABLET

ACCFLU-150 Tablets

Fluconazole Tablets IP 150 mg.

What is visible on the package

  • Medicine: Fluconazole

  • Strength: 150 mg per tablet

  • Brand: ACCFLU-150

  • Dosage form: Tablet

  • Pack shown: 20 × 1 × 1 tablets — apparently 20 individually packed tablets

  • Manufacturer/mark on box: ACCOT (the logo also says “Expert to Reasonably”/similar wording, though the small text is difficult to read precisely)

  • The individual blister pack in front also says ACCFLU-150 Tablets.

  • The tablet itself appears to be a small, white/pale-pink, round tablet.

What fluconazole is

Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine. It is used against infections caused by susceptible fungi/yeasts, commonly including:

  • Vaginal yeast infection (candidiasis)

  • Oral/throat candidiasis (thrush)

  • Certain skin fungal infections

  • Some more serious systemic fungal infections

The 150 mg strength is commonly used as a single dose for uncomplicated vaginal candidiasis, but the correct regimen depends on the infection and the individual. It should not automatically be taken just because symptoms seem fungal.

Important precautions

Fluconazole can interact with other medicines and, rarely, can cause liver problems or abnormal heart rhythm (QT prolongation). Extra caution is needed with certain heart-rhythm medicines and in people with significant liver/kidney disease.

Pregnancy is particularly important: oral fluconazole should generally not be self-used during pregnancy, especially as a 150-mg dose for vaginal yeast infection, unless specifically directed by a clinician.

About this particular box

The photograph lets me read the name and strength, but it does not clearly show important details such as the batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, MRP, composition/excipients, or prescription/storage instructions. So I can't verify from this photograph whether the particular pack is genuine or currently within its expiry date.

If you want, I can also explain exactly what Fluconazole 150 mg is used for, how it is normally taken, side effects, and when it should NOT be taken.
